Camera Obscura at Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire

This is a one second exposure taken inside the Camera Obscura, a small garden shed on the Lawn of Lacock Abbey.

“Photography is born”. August 1835.

We’ve just returned from a pilgrimage to Lacock where Fox Talbot invented photography.
This lattice window was the subject of the world's earliest authenticated surviving negative. What an honour to stand where Fox Talbot stood so many years ago when he made his discovery.

80th Birthday Bekonscot Model Village

Just last week, for the first time, our students photographed a professional male actor. After the session he said... "Great, thanks so much". What praise for our students..

Master Composter May 2009

If you have questions about your compost just ask us. By completing two training days we've just become Master Composters. Our first day was at High Heavens Commercial compost site in Wycombe followed by a day at Garden Organic Coventry.... Clossed loops, worms, hot heaps!!! These are our compost bins.

I'm often asked in when the photography is needed for a deadline and its got to be right first time. This shoot in Preston was just that. Manufacturers of a mobile PC needed dramatic images for an exhibition and magazine front cover. Photography in hostile situations refines your eye and focus. Motorways, fast cars, deadlines.
